The Town of Boothbay Harbor is seeking applications for Public Works Foreman. Qualified applicants must have experience in public works, construction, or municipal operations, with demonstrated leadership, budgeting, and supervisory skills. A two-year technical degree or equivalent experience is preferred, along with a valid Class B driver’s license. The Public Works Director oversees daily department operations, manages staff and contractors, develops and administers operating and capital budgets, ensures safety and regulatory compliance, and responds to public inquiries. Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently are essential. Applicants must pass a pre-employment physical and drug test, be willing to work beyond normal hours, and be available to be on-call, responding within 30 minutes on a rotating basis or during storms.

This is a full-time position. Compensation and benefits will be discussed with finalists.
