Department Contacts
The Code Enforcement Office is here to help with the review and permitting of construction projects, inspect ongoing projects for compliance, as well as provide consultation on issues related to the Land Use Code and the Shoreland Zone. We can explain the necessary code requirements imposed by both local, state and federal law, and work with applicants to achieve their goals. This office also works as the liaison between applicants and the Planning Board and Board of Appeals, assisting with the completion of all necessary paperwork and helping to finalize submittal material for applications. In addition, this office acts as support staff for the Municipal Assessor, and is available to review tax information as well as coordinate meetings with the Assessor to discuss questions and concerns.
